BeachCult’s vision is bring locally made, high end swim and resort wear from Africa to the world, becoming the number one swimwear creator from our continent – a beautifully crafted swimwear brand recognised around the world, with international flagship stores, filtering the benefits back to South Africa, where our production and design will remain – supporting local design and community is a cornerstone of the company.

Clothing DNA

We create perfectly fitting, luxe swimwear garments in a variety of neutral plains as well as vibrant original prints designed by artists in South Africa that appeal to women who are young at heart, confident women who are comfortable in their own skin, and looking for something striking – for all the beach babes, gypsetters and women who carry the ocean continuously in their heart.

Using innovative design techniques and fashion forward, bold statement prints designed by South Africans, we aim embody the spirit of Cape-Tonian beach culture, in a way that is accessible internationally.

It is paramount for us to respect our environment, engage in green production methods, and employ members of our local community, both in production, and in creativity, in order to uplift our region.


MBFWJ S/S 16 Inspiration

“Nature // Nurture”

This collection is inspired by the integration of humanity with nature, the feeling of immersing yourself in the ocean, breathing in the salty air and becoming one with the natural world.

Our prints of the Camps Bay palm leaves and Strelitzia flowers represent nature, the lobster print represents ocean, and our nude and muted plain hues represent us and our integration with this natural world, emphasised by their skin hugging fits.

We want to take our young at heart women on an enviable adventure when they see our pieces, to exotic jet set destinations filled with sun, sand and sea and we aim to do this through presenting a positive outlook to both physically and imaginatively.



We were chosen last year to present at Africa Fashion Week London, to rave reviews.


I want to use this opportunity to introduce myself to the Joburg market, and meet press, buyers, bloggers and new customers in this region
