As a team we have many years of combined fashion experience but more importantly we have an honest approach to what the woman out there want.  As a brand we need to add value by creating well-constructed, quality driven & price effective designs. Our personal synergy comes with years of inspiration, like-minded ability and a huge mutual love for what we do!

Ruff Tung strives to maintain a definite synergy between what we already do well (our best sellers) and what appeals to the Ruff Tung sense of fashion and style

Collection Inspiration

On our Spring Summer mood board is a quote ‘surround yourself with motivated people who inspire, work hard and uplift’

We have been driven and inspired by ‘Creative Collaboration’ this season – it takes a team to build a brand, a team to inspire & motivate, a team to produce every element leading to the end result. At the core is collaborative passion!

Our most colourful collaboration this season is with the hugely talented artist Gordon Ross – his illustrations have been the inspiration behind our fabric prints. We are known for our prints and this season we wanted to really offer our customer something unique & special in terms of that WOW factor.

As a Local Brand we developed 3 prints inspired by the Cape Town –

Cityscape, Colourscape and The Dragon & The Storm

Using our love of monochrome and colour – our core seasonal colours are;

Monochrome, black and white, aqua, nude pink and periwinkle.

Combined with the strong lines of our City Prints & the inspiration behind The Dragon print (Mother of Dragons) these all combine to emulate the Modern Ruff Tung Woman we love to dress. She embodies a passion for life, family, career & an effortless mutual love of fashion

As a local Brand representing South Africa at PURE London & then back home at MBFWJ, we wanted to create a strong signature look to complete on an international platform as well as Pan Africa.
