Inspired by Rachel Zoe’s idea that “Fashion is saying who you are without having to speak”, XIPIXI aims to give the international gentleman the opportunity to confidently express himself with aesthetically fine garments and accessories. XIPIXI works tirelessly to ensure that every man it serves gets the second look and a positive boost of confidence and elegance through garments and accessories that celebrate African heritage with a touch of bespoke tailoring.

YEAR OF THE GENTLEMAN Collection

XIPIXI has dubbed 2016, the Year of the Gentleman. The brand’s core mission and purpose is to build greater gentlemen. This year is set to celebrate great gentlemen who, by their mere existence and presence, display a sense of confidence, respect, boldness, mannerisms and most importantly personal style. This collection honours this gentleman with XIPIXI’s traditional celebration of its African heritage with touches of bespoke tailoring and many other surprises to be unveiled on the runway.

CLOTHING DNA

XIPIXI is known for boldly using colour and patterns, particularly from Mozambique, South Africa and Mali in its garments and accessories. This menswear brand is not afraid of using colour. A Professor at Oxford who once purchased a XIPIXI self-tie bow-tie asserted his conviction that “When God created Adam and Eve, he did not allocate colours to them” explaining that gentlemen should not be afraid of patterns with various colours. The patterns of pieces from XIPIXI usually have a majestic and regal appeal that often stands out and creates a unique look. Its attention to detail is often spotted in aspects such as the presentation of the buttons, the simplicity and comfort in the lining, the elegance of a particular lapel in the suit, and the comfort gentlemen feel wearing the garments.

XIPIXI Designer has received the St. Gaude’s Medal for Fine Draughtsmanship from the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.

Introduce XIPIXI to more gentlemen who seek to build a sense of personal style and boost their confidence. Another objective is to further disseminate XIPIXI products at the regional and international levels, and strongly penetrate the Johannesburg market within the months following Fashion week.
