Experienced Tailor or Seamstress Wanted to Create High-Quality African-Made Luxury Fashion

As a Tailor or Seamstress at Africa Fashion International, we require a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in garment manufacturing. A strong foundation in pattern construction and the ability to interpret patterns is essential.

A Diploma in Fashion or Garment Construction is also a prerequisite for this position.

We are in pursuit of individuals with outstanding pattern grading and tailoring skills. The capability to craft top-tier garments with an unwavering commitment to quality assurance is paramount.

Moreover, a profound understanding of textiles and proficiency in both men's and women's wear are indispensable. We highly value independence and entrust our tailors to work autonomously. Therefore, self-motivation and the ability to work independently are indispensable traits.

Your Journey as a Tailor or Seamstress with Us

As a Tailor or Seamstress at Africa Fashion International, your role will encompass providing guidance on fabric and pattern combinations to achieve optimal results.

You will have the opportunity to engage with client requirements, design new garments, showcase fabric samples and pattern books, take precise measurements, and modify or create patterns tailored to individual client needs.

Attention to detail is paramount as you will be responsible for calculating material costs and estimating the time required for each garment, ensuring customer delight through impeccable garment construction.
