The Founder and Executive Chair of African Fashion International, Dr Precious Moloi-Motsepe has announced the dates for AFI's Joburg Fashion Week 2023
“In the past few years, we have seen a growing interest in African fashion from around the world. This is due in part to the increasing visibility of African designers on the international stage. We believe that this year's event will be even bigger and better than before, and we are sure that it will be a must-attend event for anyone who loves fashion."
Fashion, Art, Music and Design Expo
Like Cape Town Fashion Week held earlier this year, Joburg Fashion Week 2023 will feature a Fashion, Art, Music, and Design Expo as well as a Retail Marketplace. This will allow attendees the opportunity to Shop the Runway as soon as each designer’s show concludes.
“We bridge the gap between the Business of Fashion and creative minds. The AFI platform leverages our world-class marketing Fashion Week to translate into sales through focused strategies that put the customer at the centre of all our activities.” says Dr Moloi-Motsepe.
AFI has always explored the intersection between art, fashion, and business, and will continue doing so with the AFI Masterclasses and other industry conversations, and networking that will make for an enjoyable and rich experience.
