The highlight of the event was a captivating ‘The Art of Winning’ Fireside Chat which saw AFI’s Founder and Executive Chair, Dr Precious Moloi-Motsepe in conversation with Banyana Banyana coach, Desiree Ellis.
Coach Ellis shared valuable insights on how to win not only on the field but also in the boardroom. She shared insights into her leadership style and the values that drive her decision making as a leader. The discussion also shed light on the importance of corporate executives, entrepreneurs, and business leaders investing in women's sports to drive its growth and development.

In an exciting announcement, Dr Precious Moloi-Motsepe announced the launch of the Power To Empower Annual Women's Golf Day, scheduled to take place during Women's Month from August 2024 onwards.
This initiative aims to promote women's participation in golf while also supporting breast cancer awareness campaigns and programs led by the CANSA association.
A portion of the proceeds generated from the Women's Golf Day will be dedicated to these noble causes, further amplifying AFI's commitment to making a positive impact on society. By combining sport, advocacy, and philanthropy, AFI continues to champion women's empowerment in diverse ways.
